Nalles is located in the beautiful Adige Vally, almost half way between Merano and Bolzano. It is also known as a wine-growing village and appreciated by real connoisseurs. A delicious and precious wine is produced in this area and you will find many places for enjoying a wine tasting session.

It is easy to understand where this success comes from. Nalles is located in a climatically ideal position. The entire area is very sunny and the temperature particularly mild. When you let your eyes move over the landscape you will see endless vineyards and fruit gardens, as well as coloured and scented flower fields. Characteristic of the village are also the rose gardens, hence the village is also called the “village of roses”.

In summer and winter you can practice the most varied sports; however, the area is also particularly popular for cyclists and excursionists. All this combined with the natural friendliness of the village’s inhabitants makes the village an unforgettable destination for spending delightful holidays.

Definitely worth a visit is the famous Cigno Castel (Schwanburg), which is beautifully positioned at the village outskirts. The picturesque inner courtyard holds columned halls and colonnades decorated with ivy, but its a visit to the cellar which should not be missed at any cost, which is the oldest in the whole of South Tyrol.

Sites not to be missed: the San Ulrico Parish Church, the Sant’t Apollonia Church and many other cultural attractions, which you should definitely see with your own eyes…you won’t be disappointed!!!
